Abstract
This study is designed to apply perspective by creating a 3-dimensional world in the 2-dimensional plane of a suit to extend its expression and availability.
Graphic arts use the aerial perspective and linear or point projection perspective often. In particular, the linear perspective is a technique that gives the sense of infinity and reality in a 2-dimensional plane by drawing an object smaller or shorter as the distance increases. Assuming that two parallel lines run straight before the observer’s eyes, the one-point perspective in linear perspective creates a vanishing point on the horizon that gives a sense of infinity. Unlike graphic arts, clothing is the outcome of implementing a 3-dimensional form through the 2-dimensional fabric. Such a process creates a shape on the surface of clothing or the space between the body and clothing. Hence, both surface design and structural design are possible.
