Abstract

Traces of water in the reaction involving ErCl3with Ph2PC5H4Na resulted in the formation of the novel complex [(Ph2PC5H4)2Er3(μ3-O)(μ-OH)2]-[Na(DME)3]+({Bd1}) (DME, dimethoxyethane), which has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR,31P NMR and X-ray single crystal structure analysis.
