Practical implementation of a stator flux oriented control scheme for an induction machine

Abstract

A novel open loop constant flux control scheme for an induction machine is described where particular attention is drawn to practical implementation. This scheme is then compared with constant volts/hertz control in the no load and loaded states and found to be far superior with little added complexity.
