Abstract
Theoretical methods for studying turbulent flows based on molecular dynamics will be discussed in this paper. The Lattice Boltzmann Method is introduced by reviewing the principles behind. Potential applications of the approach for studying practical turbulent flows are described. Finally, problems and associated solutions encountered in using this method are discussed.
