Abstract

KGaA, Weinheim. Pomegranate-structured composite microspheres composed of core mesoporous silica nanoparticles capped by a poly(l-lactide) shell are prepared via one-step electrospraying, which releases encapsulated model anti-inflammatory drugs for up to 70 d and inhibits proliferation against macrophages over the long release period.
