Polarization pulling in fiber optical parametric amplifiers

Abstract

We found that polarization pulling to the idler is stronger than that to the signal in fiber optical parametric amplifiers. High conversion efficiency and strong polarization pulling can therefore be achieved simultaneously using long fibers.
