Abstract
We demonstrate a polarization-insensitive single-pumped optical-parametric-amplifier by depolarizing the pump using a polarization controller followed by a piece of polarization-maintaining fiber with ∼ 100-ps DGD. The polarization-dependent-gain is reduced from S dB to <ldB.
