Abstract

Printed circuit boards (PCB) are widely used today. This paper reviews the methods and techniques used for planning of PCB assembly. Since the planning of PCB assembly is generally developed in three levels, the review is performed from the selection of lines, to the machine allocation, and finally to the scheduling of components. Over 50 published papers in the area are surveyed in this work.
