Abstract

Origin-Destination (OD) traffic demand is regarded as the fundamental input for transportation planning and traffic management. In view of the advancement of Big Data technologies, OD demand estimation has attracted an increasing attention in the field of transportation. Various OD demand estimation models have been developed to estimate OD demand using different sources of data. This chapter addresses a series of OD demand estimation models with consideration of different modeling concerns.
