Abstract

A novel method using 3-D space is proposed for optical multiple-image encryption. Each input image is divided into a series of particle-like points distributed in 3-D space, and all generated particle-like points are simultaneously encrypted into a phaseonly mask. The proposed method may open up a novel research perspective for optical multiple-image encryption, since a 3-D-space processing strategy is developed and successfully applied.
