Abstract

Due to the capability of overcoming complication of code structure and strong coupling among modules, also reversely abilities of reuse and maintenance, OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) has been being one mighty means for FEM programming. In the paper, Rigid-Plastic FEM simulation has been researched systematically using OOP method; Based on OOP theory, employing with UML language, objects and classes for Rigid-Plastic FEM simulation have been established; the NC Thin-Walled Tube Bending Simulation System was developed on VC++ programming panel, then key issues in the course of developing are also introduced. The result indicates that the FEM analysis framework established is suitable for most purposes, and the simulation system has capability of well abilities of reuse and maintenance embedded with CAD/CAM and others modules conveniently.
