Abstract
Atrium hot smoke tests might be required to be carried out in evaluating the performance of mechanical smoke exhaust systems when necessary, if the design does not comply with the prescriptive code. However, the criteria listed in the testing procedure might not be satisfied at the same time. This point will be discussed in this paper.
