Nonlinear dynamics in lasers with nonlinear loss

Abstract

We study the dynamics of lasers with nonlinear loss theoretically. Our simulations show that depending on the laser parameters, the laser output can exhibit stable, periodic bifurcation, or chaotic behavior.
