Abstract
Wireless sensor networks comprise large numbers of wireless sensor nodes. The compact design of a wireless sensor node allows it to fit into most environments and perform close-range sensing. Such a unique feature makes wireless sensor networks highly suitable for monitoring in extreme conditions.
