Abstract

The variation of the moisture content for those timber species commonly used in Hong Kong with relative humidity of the environment is reported in this paper. The data were obtained by carrying out an 'in-situ' test as well as a precise measurement in an environmental chamber. Further, the moisture content for indoor timber works is recommended.
