Abstract
One-dimensional time-domain traveling-wave model has been developed to model the ultraviolet random lasing action in highly disordered Zinc oxide (ZnO) thin-film ridge waveguides. Simulation results are used to explain the spectral and spatial redistributions of lasing modes in highly disordered media. In addition, the control of the photon density distribution can lead to selective excitation of lasing modes.
