Abstract

A modified two-phase model for cold-rolled polypropylene sheets was presented to deduce the stress-strain relations in crystal networks and entangled networks with slip-linked character. A linear equation between the Young's modulus and the orientation factor was obtained. The characterization of the molecular chain orientation was performed and the effects of orientations on the tensile properties were also studied.
