Abstract

This paper presents an original design method (mismatching design method) for RFID tag antenna application through the analysis of the Radar Cross Section (RCS) in RFID system. This design method can achieve the largest delta RCS than traditional way so that it optimizes the stability of the RFID system. The Thevenin equivalent circuit model of the tag antenna is discussed which displays the limit of the mismatching design method. Finally, a design example is given by using the method presented and the result verifies the validity of the analysis in this paper.
