Abstract

The electro-magnetic characteristics of a two-finger VR reluctance gripper were analyzed. It was found that the mutual inductances between the fingers cannot be neglected for the sake of simplicity. Results verify that the proposed model of the two-finger VR gripper is an accurate representation of the actual device.
