Abstract

Large volume variation of electrode materials is important for actuator design. A graphene nanosheet membrane of paralleled structure could provide large volume variation as high as 98% by controlling its interspace distance through ionic liquid pre-expanding treatment. © 2012 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
