Abstract

We for the first time demonstrate simultaneous 0.5 m resolution distributed acoustic sensing and optical heterodyne dual polarization 16 Gb/s 16QAM 56 GHz mm-wave RoF front-haul communication over 10 km fiber by using linear frequency modulated subcarriers.
