Abstract
An investigation study of Raman fiber amplifier (RFA) with all optical gain clamping is presented. The experiments demonstrate that multi-feedback system can perform better than a single-feedback system. Two clamping feedback loops at different wavelength can realize the gain fluctuation less than 1 dBm over the 60 nm amplifier bandwidth. Three clamping wavelengths loops can realize the gain fluctuation less than 0.5 dB over the 60 nm bandwidth.
