Abstract
This paper presents a real-time electromechanical transient power system simulator which is designed for use in a real-time or online environment. Together with advanced power system models and simulation algorithms, education and training requirements, software architecture and various programming techniques required for interactive real-time animated graphics are also fully discussed.
