Abstract

In power resonant converters magnetic devices such as filter inductor and resonant inductor which is always in series with a transformer take up much size. The leakage inductance of the transformer can be used as the resonant inductor if it can be adjusted accurately. In this paper a separate inductor and a transformer with adjustable leakage inductance are integrated together using a single core to reduce the size of power resonant converters.
