Abstract
The static correspondence principle for viscoelastic composites is used in a study of the ageing and stress relaxation processes of the wool keratin composite and wool textile assemblies. The effect of ageing on the stress relaxation process can be represented by a unique time shift factor which is independent of the geometrical configuration and the stress relaxation moduli of constituent phases. Some important parameters describing the viscoelastic behaviour are quantitatively determined.
