Abstract
The one stator block of multi-segmented permanent magnet linear motor includes active and inactive part. This paper analyzes magnetic field characteristics of different regions based on slotted effects model and boundary determination of half-open magnetic field. By integration air gap stored magnetic energy is obtained and converted as function. And then asymmetrical component of mutual inductance are calculated by equivalent stored energy of compensated end coils. Further, incremental self-and mutual inductance variation in pass-through section are studied by magnetic energy perturbation, and influences of length ratio between one stator block and mover on inductance parameters are investigated. Finally, the finite element and di/(dt) method are used to examine and verify the analytical results.
