Indoor three-dimensional positioning based on visible light communication using Hamming filter

Abstract

An indoor 3-D positioning system based on VLC is proposed and demonstrated. In the positioning system with the space of 94.8 cm × 80 cm × 127.7 cm, the average distance errors of x-coordinate and y-coordinate is 1.7 cm and 2.1 cm, respectively.
