Abstract
The improvement in the performance of a fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) sensor network was discussed. A genetic algorithm was used to improve the performance of FBG sensors within a wavelength-division multiplexed sensor network. It was found that the wavelength detection accuracy of a few microstrains was partially or completely overlapped.
