Abstract

The waveform relaxation algorithm proposed by Chang applying to the transient analysis of coupled transmission lines has been found to have problem in dealing with the dc components of the solution waveforms. This paper applies the modified waveform relaxation algorithms to the simulation of lossy coupled lines with nonlinear terminations. The results are compared with those generated by the conventional time-stepping method.
