Abstract

The waveform relaxation method has been shown by Chang to have substantial advantages in computation terms when applied to transmission line problems. It is shown in the present paper that the algorithm can break down if d.c. components are present in the signal, and an improved algorithm is presented. Computational results are presented and compared with the HSPICE solution.
