Abstract

A high-resolution on-chip spectrometer is demonstrated with a tunable micro-ring resonator filter by exploiting the thermo-optic effect and high quality factor of micro-ring resonator. A resolution of 0.15 nm and a bandwidth of 19 nm are realized.
