Abstract

An integrated high-resolution on-chip spectrometer with Ge-on-Si photodetector is demonstrated. The robust spectrometer has high resolution, high compactness, low cost and CMOS-compatibility. It has high potential to be used in integrated sensing and spectroscopy systems.
