Abstract

The simulated annealing genetic algorithm (SAGA) is a kind of leadable random algorithm. It is on the basis of genetic algorithm (GA) and adopts simulated annealing algorithm (SA) locally. The distribution network reconfiguration is dealt with using SAGA in this paper. According to the characteristic of the network reconfiguration, some improvements are made to meliorate the convergence. The result shows that improved algorithm is faster and the feeder power losses of reconfigured network are smaller.
