Abstract

Post occupancy evaluation (POE) is a method used to provide feedback on the satisfaction of users with the built environment. It not only provides the experience and feedback for subsequent development and design, but also enhances user engagement. The article systematically reviews the development process of post occupancy evaluation of built environment, summarizes the research progress of post occupancy evaluation of built environment at home and abroad, and then combines two cases to explain the research on post occupancy evaluation of indoor space in campus buildings, and analysis the transitions from physical environment simulation to spatial perception measurement, and looks forward to the future development of post occupancy evaluation of built environment.
