Abstract
Fracture resistance and microstructures of unreinforced and fiber-reinforced PA6,6/PP/SEBS-g-MA blends were studied. Fracture toughness of the unreinforced and fiber reinforced systems was shown to depend critically on the degree of reactive functionality given by the MA content. Microstructures of the unreinforced matrices were complex. Toughness of the fiber-reinforced system was investigated using the specific essential fracture work, we. It was concluded that we was a material property identical to JC for short fiber reinforced thermoplastics.
