Abstract
In this paper, an intra-cavity absorption spectroscopy (ICAS) based on a fiber ring laser system is described. The sensitivity of the system is investigated theoretically and experimentally. The experimental results agree with the theoretical prediction and show the sensitivity of ICAS is enhanced when compared with direct single pass absorption measurement.
