Feature based image matching algorithm for close-range imagery

Abstract

Based on the characteristics of close-range imagery, this paper proposes a new image matching algorithm by using the improved Harris detector to extract the feature points from original images, then integrates the triangle constraint with the conventional epipolar geometric constraint. The experimental result proves that this algorithm is more reliable than existing method.
