Abstract

Three types of international clothing supply chain management models have been identified between Britain and China. The models identified are Traditional Models, Simplified Traditional Models, and Streamlined Models. Specifications are a means of communicating specific product descriptions, developing product consistency, and the basis for negotiating bids and contracts. With the globalization of the textile and clothing industry, the need for detailed, accurate, and understandable specifications has also increased. Companies focus more resources on specification development and give greater consideration to the quality-related preferences of their target customers in establishing quality standards and product specifications. The Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) system is a preventative system which can be used to control everything including raw materials, income supplies, preparation, storage, and operations. Quality Assurance Critical Control Points (QACCP) have systematically identified multiple hazards in the Sample Development & Approval Process of which each process step is designated as Critical Control Point.
