Abstract
A new type of nanocomposite, Ni-CeO2, was prepared by the electrodeposition process. Compared to electrodeposited pure nickel, the nanocomposites exhibited finer nickel grains, higher microhardness, better wear resistance, improved corrosion resistance, and enhanced high temperature oxidation resistance.
