N2 - Elderly individuals might get low-back, neck, and leg pain from sedentary lifestyles and prolonged sitting. Most elderly people lack musculoskeletal health information and fitness advice to help them manage their overall health. This study investigates how design-driven research assists researchers in understanding and addressing physiological changes, ergonomic and safety issues, responding to physical activity, and increasing medical literacy in elderly care. Elderly individuals with musculoskeletal conditions need a more comprehensive assessment for two reasons. First, age-related physiological changes and chronic illnesses make daily tasks harder. Second, musculoskeletal disorders are the most typical cause of this problem. After empirical investigations, this study proposes an integrated healthcare system that can provide the elderly with health information and recommend physical fitness tips based on chronic conditions and their effects on everyday activities. This study shows the importance of design-driven research in exploring complicated elderly concerns and improving home-based rehabilitation care.
