Abstract

Experimental evidence is provided to verify bifurcation and chaos phenomena, which have been analysed and studied in detail in other publications, in a current-mode controlled Buck-Boost converter which operates at 20 kHz. A discrete model for a Buck-Boost converter under current-mode control is proposed and used for the study. A good agreement between the theoretical study and experimental results is found.
