Abstract

A two-dimensional relative flow analysis between the radial blade impeller of seven vanes was modeled in a rotating frame of reference using a computational fluid dynamics software package (FLUENT). The mass conservation and momentum equations were solved numerically using a finite volume-based algorithm. In general, both numerical and experimental results show good agreement.
