Evaluation model of the project partnering in China

Abstract

This paper provides a model for evaluating the project partnering in China. Based on literature review, the factors influencing partnering use were classified as management mechanism, organizations involved and project dimensions. Through a questionnaire survey, the factors under organization and project dimensions were validated by data obtained from 80 contractors and 36 consultants. The research indicates that there is a significant amount of agreement among the respondents on critical factors of partnering, and these factors have thus formulated the model for evaluating the partnering use of the projects in China.
