Abstract

In the Project P.A.T.H.S., diaries were collected from randomly selected students to understand their experiences as well as perceived benefits of the program. From 2005 to 2012, 1,138 pieces of diaries were collected. Integrative analyses reported previously showed that the respondents had positive experiences of the program and positive views of the instructors. Results also showed that the participants had acquired psychosocial competencies in different areas (including the societal, school, familial, interpersonal, and personal domains) after joining the program. In this chapter, weekly diaries written by the students regarding the unique attributes, wonderful features, instructors, benefits, memorable lessons, applicability of the program, and wishes for the sustainability of the program are presented.
