Abstract
In [], the full width at half maximum (FWHM) value of 30 nm was wrongly reported. All the spectral simulations performed in the study were based on a FWHM of 50 nm. On page 420 in the first paragraph of the section “Optimization for a Daylight Simulator with a Fixed CCT”, the sentence “To investigate the optimal channels of a daylight simulator containing n channels, the spectrum of each channel was simulated using a Gaussian distribution with a peak wavelength λj (j = 1,2…n) and a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 30 nm, which is an average value of AlInGaP and AlGaInN LEDs.9” should be “To investigate the optimal channels of a daylight simulator containing n channels, the spectrum of each channel was simulated using a Gaussian distribution with a peak wavelength λj (j = 1,2…n) and a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 50 nm. In comparison, the average FWHM value of AlInGaP and AlGaInN LEDs is around 30 nm.9”. On page 423 in the last paragraph of the left column, the sentence “It was found that at least six LED channels (FWHM = 30 nm) are required to produce an AA-grade daylight simulator with a fixed CCT level.” should be “It was found that at least six LED channels (FWHM = 50 nm) are required to produce an AA-grade daylight simulator with a fixed CCT level.” We thank G He for bringing the errors to the attention of the authors.
