Abstract

In the above paper [1] there are errors in the text and in several equations which were not corrected prior to publication. The second paragraph of Section I should start with the following: Recently, it has been demonstrated that modulating the active power injection of a HVDC to damp the critical inter-area oscillation of a large-scale power system is technically feasible [6], [20].
