Abstract

This book has developed substructuring methods for SHM comprehensively and systematically, covering substructuring methods in frequency and time domains, linear and nonlinear structures, eigensolutions/responses and their sensitivities, and FE model updating. The substructuring methods are advantagous and promising to be used in SHM. They can be further developed but not limited to the automatic multi-scale substructuring method, parallel/cloud computing for substructuring method and substructure-base machine learning.
