Abstract
In an era dominated by technological advancements, managing technology effectively is essential for creating a positive work environment in the hotel industry. This study highlights the critical role of hotel employees’ subjective wellbeing, namely their peace of mind, work pleasure, and work-life well-being. Through empirical evidence grounded in dyadic balance theory, pleasure-arousal theory and affect control theory, the findings reveal that the curiosity of employees toward technology significantly moderates the effects of technostress on peace of mind, enhancing employees’ subjective wellbeing. Accordingly, hotel managers can leverage employees’ curiosity as a valuable trait to foster a more resilient and satisfied workforce, ultimately benefiting the industry’s future.
