Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology such as generative AI, university students have more opportunities to use related technology. Therefore, there is an urgent need to promote the technological social responsibility of university students. Besides using technology in an ethical way, such as avoiding academic dishonesty, university students should also learn how to use information technology to promote the welfare of people, such as using online technology to conduct educational programs for deprived groups. In this paper, we introduce some pioneering work conducted at a university in Hong Kong to promote technological responsibility through the development of videos that can be used as a virtual teaching and learning tool.
