Electronically tunable microwave frequency generation based on dual-polarization fiber grating laser

Abstract

A simple and compact approach for tunable microwave frequency generation based on dual-polarization distributed Bragg reflector fiber laser is demonstrated. The beat tone frequency changes linearly with the voltage applied to piezoelectric transducer.
